HEALTH INFORMATION

Important Information Before Booking

Before scheduling your appointment, please review the following guidelines to ensure the best results and a smooth healing process.

PREGNANCY & BREASTFEEDING

  • Cosmetic tattooing cannot be performed during pregnancy.

  • If you are breastfeeding, please reach out for more information before booking.

EXISTING COSMETIC TATTOOS

  • If you have previous cosmetic tattooing, a consultation is required before booking. Please contact us first.

MEDICATIONS & SUPPLEMENTS

  • If you are taking blood thinners such as Warfarin, Heparin, or Aspirin, or medications like Endone (opioid), Prednisone, Roaccutane (within the last 8–12 months), or antibiotics, please consult us before booking.

  • Dietary supplements like fish oil, primrose oil, krill oil, ginseng, and ginkgo biloba should be avoided for one week after treatment.

  • Alcohol should be avoided for at least 24 hours before your appointment to prevent excessive bleeding.

INJECTABLES

  • For best results, avoid cosmetic injectables (muscle relaxants and dermal fillers) for at least two weeks before and after your procedure.

SKIN CONDITIONS & ALLERGIES

  • If you have eczema, dermatitis, or hypersensitive skin, consult a medical professional before booking.

  • If you have allergies to latex, rubber, medications, numbing agents, or PPE, please inform us in advance.

COLD SORES

  • If you are prone to cold sores, lip tattooing should be avoided during an active outbreak, as the procedure can trigger future breakouts.

FACIAL SURGERY

  • If you have recently had facial surgery, a doctor’s approval is required before proceeding with a cosmetic tattoo.

SKINCARE & TREATMENTS

  • Chemical Peels: Avoid chemical peels for 2–4 weeks before and after your appointment.

  • Cosmeceutical Skincare: Discontinue products containing AHA’s (Glycolic, Lactic Acid), Vitamin C, Benzoyl Peroxide, Vitamin A, or alcohol over 6% for at least 5 days before and 2 weeks after your treatment, as they can speed up pigment fading.

  • Topical Vitamin A: Retin-A, Tretinoin, Hydroquinone, and skin bleaching agents should be avoided for at least 5 days before treatment to reduce sensitivity and the risk of scarring.

LASER & LIGHT-BASED TREATMENTS

  • IPL/Laser: Avoid IPL or laser treatments for at least 4 weeks before your cosmetic tattoo appointment. Areas with existing tattoo pigment should never be treated with laser.

  • LED Therapy: LED light can aid healing and may be beneficial post-treatment.

RADIATION & CHEMOTHERAPY

  • If you are currently undergoing or have recently completed radiation or chemotherapy, a doctor’s permission is required before booking.

DIABETES

  • If you have diabetes, healing may take longer. Please contact us before booking.

LIFESTYLE & AFTERCARE

  • Avoid cardio workouts, saunas, hot spas, and spray tanning for 48 hours post-treatment.

  • For two weeks after treatment, avoid saltwater, chlorinated pools, high UV exposure, tanning beds, and infrared light therapy.

  • If you have any questions, please reach out before booking. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities!
